FAQ me!

What is this thing?
 It's a CRPG with some erotic elements. It's not a porn game, or at least I wouldn't count it as one - there's a whole lot to do that doesn't involve sex. Its just pretty saucy, and doesn't take itself entirely seriously. Compare it to something like the (excellent) webcomic Oglaf or the (excellent in parts) TV series Lexx, I guess.
 Though it's possible that expanded editions of it will be released at later dates, I hope to have an Alpha release out inside a few weeks time.

Why did you stop working on Mutant Minx Meltdown?
I was having a tough time in general, got burned out and a bad mental block on it. I decided to fire into a shorter, more contained project in an attempt to re-inspire myself and  reset my meters, as it were, and it seems to be working! I hope to be back writing about our favorite mutant haunted nameless Island soon!

What are the content rules for this game?
Pretty much the same as for MMM - no death, harsh violence, under-age, incest, necrophillia, bestiality (anthro is fine), scat or watersports. And possibly other stuff I have forgotten.

I don't know what to do! 
Well, you can't win yet, so just have some fun exploring. Your mission is to find four elemental artifacts and use them to get a God Battery, though.


I got stuck in combat!
Yeah, sorry, the combat is the aspect of the game that's still the ropeiest. It will get fixed, but for now, save in every town.


I get nothing but a black screen when I launch the game!

You're not alone - several people reported this, but I've been unable to work out why it happens to some people. A lovely guy called Zarin messaged me to tell me this had happened to him, and a solution he found. I have not had this issue, so I cannot vouch to this working. If it screws things up or makes your computer or loved ones explode, it is not my fault. Anyway, here is Zarins explanation. Cheers Zarin.

Hey, I downloaded your game, which is fantastic by the way, but encountered a problem when I first had it. I unzipped it fine, and the .exe booted with no problems, but all I had was a black window with no text or discernible options. After reinstalling Direct X and several other random stupid things, I actually found a solution for the problem, and I thought you may want to post it. I've seen a few people in the comments on your blog with the same issue I think.

First, you make a text file in the same directory as the MMwhatever.exe The text file has to be called Environment.txt

Second, you add the line RENPY_GL_ENVIRON="fixed" to the text file, and save it

Bam, problem solved. Not bad for someone with no programming experience eh?

Is there a map?
Make your own! Or check out the library in Branston - You can get a look at one there. You could take a screen cap of it, load it up in a paint program, and fill in the details yourself as you explore! This is how we used to roll back in the days before automaps, see...
